This December Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra will set the on-screen floor on fire with their marvellous and epic duet dance performance in Bajirao Mastani's song Pinga ga Pori. Released on Sunday at 12 noon by Eros Now, the 3-minute song shows Deepika and Priyanka dressed in full Maharashtrian glory including traditional nose ring, green glass bangles and nau-vari (nine yard saree) and dance with utmost passion and grace.
The song Pinga – with heavy Maharashtrian influence and lyrics brings together for the first time Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra (as Mastani and Kashibai) on the same dance floor and forms a crucial part of the epic film Bajirao Mastani directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The lyrics of Pinga song is composed by Siddharth-Garima and is sung by Shreya Goshal and Vaishali Made.The song, awaited eagerly by Bajirao Mastani fans, opens with Priyanka Chopra in deep purple polka-dotted saree facing Deepika Padukone in a similar saree in red colour.
It shows the off-screen friendship, warmth and camaraderie between the two actresses Deepika and Priyanka.The Pinga dance is likely to remind audience of the ever-popular Dola re Dola song in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Devdad featuring Madhuri Dixit-Nene and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
