Windows 10 build 10041 is out and you can download it now via Windows Update!
You been waiting what seemed like ages, but it is finally here, a new Windows 10 Technical Preview build is now available for download.
Goodbye 9926, and hello 10041! The latest Technical Preview build is now rolling out to Insiders enrolled in the Fast ring. The build was compiled on Friday and it comes with new functionality and a bunch of bug fixes. There's a new Start experience with transparency, improvements made to virtual desktops where you can drag applications from one desktop to another making for faster and easier multitasking, and Cortana is now available to new markets such as China, the UK, France, Italy, Germany, and Spain. The new fly-out network access menu that we showed you earlier is also in this new build, as well as enhancements to the photos app, the text input canvas for inputting text with a pen, and even the new lockscreen.
Again, you will need to be enrolled in the Fast ring, and the new build is currently only available through Windows Update for those already running a previous Windows 10 build. Get downloading, and let us know what you think of the new build in the comments section. We will have a video of Windows 10 build 10041 for you shortly.
