Former wicket keeper MSK Prasad has replaced Sandeep Patil as Indian cricket's chairman of selectors. The ex India and Andhra Pradesh cricketer will represent South Zone in the five-man selection panel.
Meanwhile, former fast bowler Venkatesh Prasad was named as the chairman of the junior selection panel. The other selectors on the senior panel include Sarandeep Singh (North Zone), Abey Kuruvilla (West Zone), Subroto Banerjee (East Zone) and Rajesh Chauhan (Central Zone).
Ajay Shirke was re-elected unopposed as BCCI Secretary. The panel was constituted at the BCCI AGM in Mumbai on Wednesday.
