Telangana state government has readied plans to announce “Dasara bonanza” for students and the unemployed youth in the state. Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao is expected to make an announcement on filling 50,000 posts in various departments through newly-created Telangana State Public Service Commission on the occasion of Dasara on October 3.
Students, who played a major role in Telangana agitation, are angry with the government for the delay in issuing recruitment notifications in the new state and protests have been increasing on the campuses. The government wants to pacify the agitating students by issuing series of job notifications to fill Group-I, Group-II posts besides teaching posts in junior, degree and PG colleges and universities.
The chairman and members for the TSPSC are set to be appointed soon to take up the recruitment drives. Government sources said that Chief Minister Chandrasekhar Rao found Dasara to be the ideal occasion to come out with an announcement on recruitment exams to pacify the agitating students.
