The twin states could be gearing up for separate Eamcet Exams, if respective governments do not come to a consensus by January 16. The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) is expected to come up with Eamcet dates in the coming week, if it does not get a favourable response from AP.
After the failure of several rounds of discussions on holding common EAMCET, both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are likely to hold separate EAMCET exams. We have to Wait Till Jan 16th 2015.
Telangana government has decided to wait till 16thof the month and if it does not get a favourable response from its counterpart AP, it will make an announcement of the schedule.
The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) has earlier written to the AP, but it is yet to get the response from the counterparts. “We will wait for a response for only one day after Sankranthi. After that we will announce the dates for EAMCET,” said T-officials.
If the separate EAMCET exams will be held for the states, JNTU-Hyderabad will conduct the exam for Telangana, while Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Kakinada or Anantapur, or the Andhra University could conduct the examination for the AP.
