Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today called on Supreme Court Chief Justice TS Thakur at Raj Bhavan here. The CJI is to participate in some of the programs in the city. KCR closeted with the CJI for some time and learnt to have discussed various issues pertaining to development programs and welfare schemes in the state. The Chief Minister is understood to have sought Thakur to intervene in addressing the pending bifurcation issue of High Court.
Telangana Government is making an alternate arrangement of either land or a separate building until Andhra Pradesh Government constructs its own High Court he is said to have informed to the CJI. KCR also said that the state government time and again sought the Centre to complete the process of HC bifurcation and resole related issues as per AP Reorganization Act. Chief Secretary Dr Rajiv Sharma was also present.
