Minister faces Hate Message in Facebook, Accused Arrested!


A Class XI Student of Woodrow School in Bareilly district of Uttar Pradesh has been arrested and later remanded to 14 Days in prison for his Facebook post attributed to state's Urban Development Minister Azam Khan.

Azam Khan's media in-charge Fasahat Ali filed a complaint for inflammatory post in the name of the Minister. A case has been registered under Section 66A of the IT Act and the student was arrested.

The Facebook Post hurt the sentiments of Hindus and Muslims apart from tarnishing the image of Azam Khan. During the interrogation, The Student told he didn't know the real meaning of his post and pleaded innocence.

Azam Khan garnered National wide attention after Jayaprada accused him of trying to tarnish her image with morphed pictures of her.
