Reports of Vastu problems for the official residence of Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister surfaced following the suicide of Ex-CM Kalikho Pul. Niti Vihar, the official CM's residence, was first occupied by then Chief Minister Dorjee Khandu and died in chopper crash with few months. In 2011, CM Jarbam Gameen lost his post and passed away due to illness. Then, Nabum Tuki was dethroned. In February 2016, Kalikho Pul became CM with the support of rebel Congress MLAs. He, however, had to step down after five months with Supreme Court order and the rebels went back to the Congress party. The former CM who was yet to vacate the official CM's residence committed suicide in the same building.
