In a vile attack on the BCCI, Modi posted a series of tweets aiming at the defunct BCCI and its ways of handling the match fixing issues. He further went on to add that If Supreme Court was to reveal the list of corrupt players involved in Match Fixing, there will 4 players from Chennai Super Kings (CSK)
Lalit Modi's claim has once again thrown the match fixing debate in Indian Cricket wide open and there will be huge allegations on the Indian Premier League for ruining the dignity of the gentleman's game. According to Lalit Modi, there are Indian and International players both involved in the act of Match Fixing.
IPL has been under constant threat of Match Fixing and now with Modi's tweets and claims there is bound to be further actions against not only Chennai Super Kings but the entire roaster of squads involved in the IPL. Indian pacer S.Sreesanth was banned for life after being found guilty in an act of Match Fixing.
