Diwali is the biggest festive in India more so in southern part of India. The nights are the best part during Diwali with the no moon sky, lit up in electric colours from fire crackers. An astronaut astounded by the view of a beautifully lit up sky from the outer space captured the picture of south India celebrating Diwali and posted it of his Twitter.
American Astronaut Scott Kelly who is in the outer space for a year saw a spectacular scene unleash in the ground beneath. He probably had no clue of the festive or its rituals taking place thousands of miles beneath and away from him but he couldn't resist not sharing the spectacle on his twitter account.
Scott Kelly would be back to earth by spring next year. It was on 233 day he shared the Picture of what- south of India looked like from outer space on Diwali and said 'Day233. Once Upon a Star over southern India. Good night from Space station' . He also shared the picture of Paris from space after the gory terror attack and expressed his Shock stating 'Shocked and saddened by terrorist attacks on Paris standing with France from space station. Our thoughts with you'.
