After a lot of dilly dallying, Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu has finally zeroed in on an auspicious muhurat for the official announcement over the new capital of truncated Andhra Pradesh. Mr Naidu is going to make formal statement on Thursday at 12.17 PM.
Although it's common knowledge that capital will be located between Vijayawada and Guntur and most probably near Mangalagiri or near Nuzvid, the million dollar question what Chandra Babu is going to state along with declaring capital. All eyes are on what will Naidu say in Assembly about the decision, and how does he justifies is.
A highly-placed source shared, "Naidu has decided to set up capital in Mangalagiri though government has no sufficient lands in the area as the area is centrally located. He is going to give the option to local farmers itself. If they're willing to give their lands to government based on 60:40 ratio, then government will pick Mangalagiri as capital. Else Naidu has plan B. He will opt for Nuzvid as capital where lands are available."
Naidu also going to talk at length over the development of other cities, towns and districts. Sources corroborated that Naidu has chalked out plan for the uniform growth.
