Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi yet again has slammed Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the state run Bharatiya Janata Party government in Maharashtra on Friday. Gandhi also accused Devendra Fadnavis government for walking on the path of central government who claims tall promises but do not fulfills them.
Addressing the party workers, Gandhi said that the the Prime Minister talks on issues very well, but when it comes to fulfill it, he keep his mouth shut. He also took a jibe at the marketing strategy of the BJP government and said, “Marketing bahot acchi hai (BJP), bhaashan acche dete hain (Narendra Modi). Lekin jab kaam karne ki baat hoti hai tab Modi ji shaant ho jaate hai (The marketing strategy is very good, and speeches are better. But when there is a need to work on the plan, Modiji keep his mouth shut).” He added, “Modi ji had talked about 'Swacch Mumbai', that cannot happen with broom alone, solid waste needs to be eliminated.”
In an attempt to motivate the young aspiring leaders, the Congress vice president said, “Congress wants to bring in change, and want to make Mumbai cleaner, but for that first we will have to win elections.” Showing his concerns on the current issues like farmers suicide and other issues, Gandhi said that “balance is required to take the nation ahead. But India has weak sections and the sad part is that the present government forgets these people who voted him to power. ”
