Even as the Opposition is questioning the efficacy of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu's frequent visits to foreign countries, his recent trip to the Great Wall is yielding results. He toured for five days in China. Great builders that they are, the Chinese Railway Construction Company has shown immediate readiness to run high-speed trains in Andhra Pradesh.
A communication in this regard was sent by the Chinese Railway Construction Corporation to the AP government, expressing their willingness to run high speed rails in the State.
Among others, the Chief Minister had met the CRC officials and broached the subject of running high-speed rails in the State. They said they would respond later. But within a week the CRC responded positively to running high-speed rails in AP. Various cities in the country have metros, the remnant AP was left with none. Now they can travel in high-speed rails.
