Public trial of red sanders smugglers @ Tirupati

AP government has commenced public trial of red sanders smugglers at the Tarakarama play grounds in Tirupati.

The police and forest department have produced 346 red sander smugglers for public trial after an massive operation for last five months involving nearly 2000 policemen after the smugglers killed two forest rangers in last May. They were produced before the fifth municipal magistrate of Tirupati. 

It may be recalled that police had identified one Gangireddy, a red sander smuggler who was key architect helping the PWG to place a claymore mine  near Alipiri  in Tirumala ghat road on October 1, 2003 which maimed Chandrababu Naidu for almost four months .Gangi reddy is now  absconding and has escaped to Malaysia acording to latest police bulletin.
