Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Shatrughan Sinha met Rashtriya Janata Dal ( RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav in Patna on Tuesday and dubbed his meeting as 'boldly and openly'. He also posted pictures of the meeting on his twitter account. "Meeting openly...and boldly..!," he tweeted. He also described Lalu as an 'old friend', saying that he shared light moments with him during the meeting. "Sharing lighter moments with old friends in Patna," he said in another tweet.
Sinha also met Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar yesterday and said that it was 'great to reconnect with good friend and Mukhiya of Bihar'. The actor-turned politician's comment has on many occasions left the BJP embarrassed.
During the run up to the Bihar Assembly polls, he had lauded Nitish and described him as a good leader, which had irked the BJP. BJP leader Kailash Vijayvargiya had gone to the extent of comparing Sinha to a dog walking past a car and thinking that the car was following it. Vijayvargiya had also expressed his disappointment over Sinha's remarks on the party's debacle in the Bihar polls.
