Upset over his being ranked fifth as per his information, AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu faulted the survey conducted by the Prime Minister. In a meeting with secretaries and HoDs, Mr Naidu had mentioned that he was ranked fifth in the PM's survey on performance of CMs.
According to sources, Mr Naidu said, “When all the schemes being implemented by the AP government got first rank, how can the CM be ranked fifth? Along with the schemes, the CM too should get first rank.”
Sources said Mr Naidu dismissed the survey saying: “Everybody is conducting surveys according to their whims and fancies”. Interestingly in the same meeting Mr Naidu was briefed on survey conducted by a private agency on behalf of the AP government.
