The government of Andhra Pradesh has successfully organized the Krishna Pushkarams this time. Apparently, Central government of Andhra Pradesh has appreciated AP CM Chandrababu Naidu's efforts in making the 12-day event a grand success. The state government spent around 1600 crores for organizing the Pushkarams.
AP government had faced severe criticism for the last year's Godavari Pushkarams regarding the stampede on the first day and lack of proper facilities. This time, Naidu took it as a challenge and provided extraordinary facilities to ensure a hassle free darshan for the pilgrims.
Reports say that the central government asked Naidu to come to Delhi to discuss the event and if possible, asked him to make a draft report so that some of the points can be used in future to organize such events. On the whole, AP government has done a commendable job and ensured that the mistakes happened in Godavari Pushkarams were not repeated.
