Where are the 400 acres of land worth Rs.200 crore gone at the Raviryala village of Maheswaram mandal Medak district in the hardware park which was launched with fanfare by the Chandrababu Naidu govt?
Both the Telangana Industrial Infrastructure corporation and the revenue department are logger heads over the missing land. Revenue department says it had allocated 1565 acres of land but the Corporation says on the ground there was just 1165 acres of land.
Telangana CM ordered a complete probe into the missing 400 acres allotted to the Hardware park in 2002 after the land was resumed from the animal husbandry department. Either design or due to dereliction of duty, the corporation now says that it has been given in possession only 1165 acres but the Revenue department argues that it had given complete documents for 1565 acres 12 years ago.
Reviewing the situation after ordering the probe the CM had said that was the state of affairs, thanks to the whimsical rule of both Chandrababu and the YSR regime when land was allotted just for the asking without any systematic approach. 'Now both Chandrababu and YSR has to explain where the 400 acres have gone' says Chandrasekhar Rao.
