Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N.Chandrababu Naidu said that it would be better if a temporary capital is formed at any place before the construction of the new capital with all the necessary facilities.
Chandrababu convened a meeting with the members of capital advisory committee in Hyderabad on Tuesday.
Speaking on the occasion, Chandrababu said, "The construction of the new capital has to take place on par with international standards. It should attract the tourists from foreign countries too."
There are more chances for Vijayawada to be the temporary capital for the state. The state government is favouring the coastal city only for the same. Efforts are being made to shift the state level offices of different department to Vijayawada.
The state government ordered the officials to search for the available buildings in the city to be allocated for different offices and the residences of the employees.
