YCP Official Spokesperson Ambati Rambabu maintained High Court's order on the defections of Lawmakers into Ruling Party is a slap on the face of Leaders encouraging them. 'High Court will also apply for defections in AP. How could Revanth Reddy complain that KCR is luring Opposition MLAs with cash bags when Chandrababu Naidu is doing the same thing here? KCR and Chandrababu are one and the same in this aspect,' he opined.
Ambati demanded AP Speaker Kodela Siva Prasada Rao to disqualify 20 YSR Congress MLAs who shifted loyalties to ruling TDP with immediate effect. He told Speaker should disqualify rebel MLAs within three months as per norms, so that they would face by-polls in the next 6 months. He pledged to approach High Court if Speaker doesn't take appropriate action against the defectors.
Quoting the poll promise of TDP to include Kapus in BCs within 6 months after forming the Government, The YCP Leader alleged TDP Government has backtracked and spreading hatred among the two communities. He told Kapus were demanding Chandrababu to just fulfill his promise nothing else. 'There is no dispute between Kapus & BCs. BCs were provoked by Government to launch protests at the places visited by Justice Manjunatha Commission. Being a CM, He should appeal people to calm down but spreading hatred among them,' he alleges.
