Tirumala 2nd magistrate court will give its final verdict over ‘Alipiri’ blasting case which occurred in 2003 targeting then Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu. The CM’s convoy was bombed in 2003 at Alipiri in a deliberate attempt to assassinate him. The incident shook the state and nation then.
As the trial has progressed rapidly over years, where main accused Gangireddy, Ramaswamy Reddy, Nagarjuna and Sagar was confirmed as criminals in this case, now the court is set to give its final verdict after almost recording 76 of witnesses.
Although previously Gangireddy and Sagar were emancipated from this case, the recent fleeing of Gangireddy to abroad has again generated negative chances for him to go under the phase. The verdict will likely to come on 25th of this month.
