Telangana State BJP president G Kishan Reddy today alleged that TRS captured power by misleading the people and now the fruits of welfare schemes were not reaching them.
Inaugurating party’s membership drive at Indravelli in the district, Kishan Reddy said though TRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao had assured that suicides by farmers would be prevented if TRS came to power, till yesterday (November 2013) some 400 farmers have committed. He also pointed out that 90 farmers committed suicide in the native district of the Chief Minister. He also alleged that the KCR government has miserably failed to prevent viral diseases in the tribal areas and they were not getting nutritious food.
Criticising the previous Congress-led UPA government, the BJP leader said some ministers and bureaucrats were involved in corruption during its 10 year regime. But now just after five months of Narendra Modi government, foreign countries were looking towards India, he added. Kishan Reddy hoped that India would emerge a world leader under the leadership of Narendra Modi in the coming days.
District BJP president Boomanna, Swacch Bharat State vice-president Ramana and others were present.
