PepsiCo Largest Indian Plant in Andhra Pradesh


Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu knows how to please the industrialists and investors. We have seen Chandrababu impressing many world-class leaders like Bill gates and Satya Nadella.

Now another big head impressed with Naidu's work and she is none other than Indira Noyi; CEO of Pepsico. Pepsico CEO, Indira Noyi is in Andhra Pradesh for the inauguration of the new plant in Satyavedu. PepsiCo today commissioned phase one of its Rs. 1,200-crore manufacturing plant at Sri City multi-product economic zone located in Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh.

Indira Noyi attended the event and she was flattered by treatment of AP CM. Indira Noyi heaped praises in media saying, “Wonderful Tirumala, Wonderful Chief Minister".

CBN arranges special darshan for Indira Nooyi at Tirumala and they even share a product at the inauguration of the bottling facility at Sri City. PepsiCo plans to manufacture its entire range of beverages by adding sports drinks to the portfolio.

Nooyi said, "With the plant and the company sourcing strategy, local farmers would benefit as we would make it a hub for sourcing mango pulp."Assuring support for their expansion projects, Naidu said that the new industrial policy is investor friendly providing faster clearances.
