The Vice-Chairman of VUDA, T Baburao Naidu, directed the officials to speed up project works on fast track lines as the Chief Minister, Chandrababu Naidu, has been entrusting new assignments with a trust on the performance of the organisation. Convening a meeting with the officials on Monday, the Vice-Chairman put targets to them with timelines to complete the works. He asked the planning and engineering officials to prepare the master plan for the proposed education city, the most prioritised project of the Chief Minister.
Further, the officials were directed to complete the projects of Seethammadhara Shopping Complex and Pandurangapuram Park by April 30, enabling for opening by the Chief Minister as he is expected to visit the city again on that day. Discussing on the issues raised by the Chief Secretary during his visit recently, Baburao Naidu told the officials to complete the issues pertaining to master plan roads, Change of Land use applications avoiding further delay.
While addressing on resolutions of the VUDA Board held on April 6, the Vice-Chairman said the Board had resolved to allot the VUDA Share HIG and MIG plots through auction and the LIG category on allotment basis.
The VUDA Secretary, A Srinivas, was asked to finalise the required procedures to take up auction of the plots and also identify the odd bits. Along with Secretary Srinivas, In-charge Chief Engineer M Appanna, DFO B Raja Rao, Estate Officer B Bhavanidas, Chief Accounts Officer Y Hariprasad, PCPIR Joint Director V Bhavanisankar, Planning Officers B Ramateertha, D Suseela, KD Brainard, L Subrahmanyam, MVS Reddy, DV Ramana, Executive Engineers and others participated.
