YSRC leader Jagan Mohan Reddy is not too happy with the TDP rule in the state. He felt that the party is not understanding people’s choice. He further felt that the financial assistance report submitted by TDP won’t help Andhra Pradesh people to the maximum extent. Feeling frustrated with the TDP’s report, YSRC came up with a plan to submit its own financial assistance report to the finance commission.
Jagan felt that the state of Andhra Pradesh should get 50% share in the taxes collected on the entire united AP. Soon after the division of the state, majority of the taxes collected on Hyderabad are now routing to Telengana region. YSRC leader Jagan felt that the entire taxes should be divided equally. This means that Telengana government will get less compared to the present value. This is a shock to TRS government.
For TDP, YSRC gave shock by announcing its own financial assistance report and for TRS, the reduction of revenue turned out to be the shocking aspect. “How far will this aspect bring differences between YSRC and TRS?” is yet to be known. Stay tuned for more updates.
