Telangana IT Minister K Taraka Rama Rao who is quite active on Twitter congratulated AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu for successfully shifting the Secretariat Employees to Velagapudi in Amaravati. 'Extremely happy as a new chapter begins in the history of Andhra Pradesh as our Govt has started functioning from #Amaravati today,' he wrote.KTR then tweeted to CBN raising the question why he continue to delay the bifurcation of Hyderabad High Court. 'Sir, Congratulations on the milestone. To expedite justice delivery, isn't it imp that AP has High Court in Amaravati?,' he tweeted to Naidu.
Telangana Lawyers have protested the appointment of AP-origin Judges in the High Court. Following this development, KCR threatened Centre that he would consider holding a dharna at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi if the issue remains resolved. TRS MP Kavitha openly blamed AP CM for the long delay in the division. Thousands of Lawyers in Telangana have gone on a mass strike demanding bifurcation of High Court. Centre made it clear that bifurcation of HC wasn't in its hands but Telugu States & Hyderabad High Court alone can take a call in this matter.
