Yoga guru Baba Ramdev is all set to expand Patanjali with a whopping Rs 1000 Crore. Interacting with media persons, Patanjali group promoter Baba Ramdev stated that 1000 Crore would be invested. He further said that the amount would be allotted to develop their products in the fields of E-commerce, exports to the foreign countries. He also said that he is contemplating to set up production units in the South India. Apparently, Baba Ramdev is mulling over to set up units in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra. Baba Ramdev said that the group would focus more on exports to United States, United Kingdom.
So far, Patanjali group has 15,000 stores across India of which 5000 are bigger ones. Ramdev said that he's looking at setting up more stores with 2000-3000 sq feet in cities. Talking about the 1000 Crore funds, Ramdev said that banks have given 500 Crore as capital loans and even interested to lend more.
In the last financial year, Patanjali's turnover was 2 Crore. This year, it's estimates to have Rs 5 Cror turnover. Meanwhile, Patanjali is also chalking out plans to join Mega Food Park as partner. It's common knowledge by now that Patanjali has recently launched its Atta Noodles. Looks like, Patanjali Ayurved is leaving no stone unturned to take the firm to the next level.
