Former Minister and Senior Congress leader Sailajanath is waiting on the wall from few months. Now reports emerging from the Congress party say that former Primary Education Minister may cross over to YSRCP party. Earlier there were reports that Sailajanath would join the TDP but it was not happened due to unknown reasons. Many said that senior leader JC Diwakar Reddy and several TDP leaders from Anantapur district opposed his entry into the TDP.
Now, media is abuzz with reports that he is contemplating to join the YS Jagan's party. Sailajanath has not been active with Congress party activities in the recent times and also skipped tour of Rahul Gandhi recently. All these are fueling the speculations of his party defection soon.
Jagan's camp too will have added advantage and are waiting for his call. The party do not have proper candidate in his Singanamala constituency and so it is interested in admitting him. Apart from Sailajanath another three former MLAs from East Godavari are also looking to join YSRCP.
