The varsities should hold debates on the government's initiatives such as Interlinking of rivers, water conservation, drought conditions prevailing in the State among other issues and make recommendations to the government. Stating that the future leaders and young entrepreneurs were made on campuses, Chandrababu said, “Universities should adopt a constructive approach to inculcate leadership qualities among the students.”

He asked the VCs to prepare the students to choose the best careers. CMO chief secretary Satish Chandra and joint secretary Pradyumna were present.
