Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N.Chandrababu Naidu is ready with preliminary team and workers to help the victims. He also directed the district collectors to rain affected areas like Nellore, Chittoor and Kadapa. He already prepared an action plan so that the rehabilitation can be done fast.
As we reported earlier, Naidu had a meeting with all district collectors through video conferencing and he was well-prepared to face the rains. The situation is expected and Chandrababu Naidu is aware of the consequences as he already saw how much bad Chennai was affected earlier.
Now collectors are taking measures to save the standing crops which are submerged in rain water. Health camps were also set up in every nook and corner so that the diseases can be prevented. Corporation guys were asked to clean the water logs every now and then so that the path way doesn't get blocked.
Officials are also ready with food items to all flood affected areas. The north east monsoons are severe this year and the floods are more than expected. People in low-lying areas like Chittoor are advised to be safe.
