Kcr Asks L&T To Protect Heritage Look of Hyd

Telangana chief secretary Rajiv Sharma met chief executive officer and managing director of L&T Metro Rail Hyderabad Limited,VB Gadgil, on Thursday and discussed issues related to changes in alignment as suggested by the Telangana Government.

The Collectors of Ranga Reddy and Hyderabad districts have also participated in the meeting. Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, who held a meeting with Gadgil a couple of days ago, asked L & T Metro Rail to change its alignment to protect the heritage look of some important locations in Hyderabad.

The government has also decided to compensate the L & T with the additional costs involved in the changes in alignment.
