MRPS Files Complaint Against AP DGP

The Madiga Reservation Porata Samithi, represented by its president U Brahmaiah, filed a contempt petition in the High Court seeking to punish J V Ramudu, DGP of AP, under the Contempt of Courts Act for disobeying the court orders.

The petitioner brought to the notice of the court that the MPRS founder Manda Krishna Madiga has proposed to hold “Viswaruapa Chaitanaya Yatra” from Naravaripalle in Chittoor district to Vijayawada city and the local police denied permission. When the MRPS challenged the denial of permission by the police, a single judge of the High Court dismissed the pleas and then the MRPS preferred an appeal before the division bench.
