YSR Congress leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has just met the Prime Minister of India - Narendra Modi at New Delhi. Jagan has managed to meet Modi at his residence in Race Course Road at 4.30 pm today and he was accompanied by other YSRCP MPs.
The main agenda for Jagan's meet with Modi is to remind the central government about the numerous promises made to the state of Andhra Pradesh. Going by the sources, Jagan has brought up the issues of Special Status, Polavaram Project, Hudhud Cyclone, New Capital and also other promises made to AP at the time of bifurcation.
"We got an appointment of Modi after a lot of difficulty. Our one hour long meeting with Modi will be a productive one with a detailed discussion about the burning issues of our state and the assurances that were given by the central government in the past. We also would like to complain about the threatening nature of TDP, the ruling party in Andhra Pradesh," said one of YSR Congress members before the meeting!
Let's hope that the opposition leader of AP really raises his voice and takes all the unresolved issues to the notice of Prime Minister of India and PMO as well.
