Just when the party's President YS Jagan has given his nod to support Mudragada's Kapu agitation, the YSRCP has received a rude shock as its prominent Kapu leader Buragadda Vedavyas announced that he is quitting YSRCP to join the TDP.Last night, Vedavyas arranged a Press Conference where he said that he is joining the TDP to earn respect and to be part of a great mission like Amravati construction. The former Deputy Speaker of erstwhile Andhra Pradesh said that he took this decision after he was continuously humiliated by YS Jagan.
Until 2014, Vedavyas was in Congress and he joined the YSRCP just before the general election. However, he suffered a humiliating defeat in the hands of TDP's Kagitha Venkata Rao. Since then with the bears has not been proactive in YSRCP related activities. With a senior Kapu leader like Vedavyas joining the party the, the Chandrababu-led TDP has just received a solid boost in the times when Mudragada vowed to intensify his protest for Kapu reservation by holding a huge 5-day Satyagraha Padayatra.
