14-year-old Delhi girl abducted on way to school, gangraped by 6 youths in car


Another Nirbhaya type incident took place in national capital. In a horrific case which brought back memories of the horrific gang-rape in Delhi in 2012, a 14 year minor school girl was allegedly gang-raped in a moving van.

As per police a 14-year-old girl was allegedly abducted when she was on her way to school. She was then raped by six youths inside a van at Dichaon village near southwest Delhi's Najafgarh area. One among them was her neighbour. The culprits have kidnapped the girl when the girl was on her way to school around 7.30 AM yesterday.They abducted the girl at her residence in west Delhi's Jai Vihar area and pushed her inside a white Tata Sumo.

The accused took the girl to an isolated area and all of them raped her inside the vehicle. When she objected the youth also allegedly threatened to kill her.
The issue came to light after a local at at Dichaon village witnessed the act and reported the matter to a traffic official. Five of the accused identified as Rahul (19), Suraj (19), Sandeep (21), Ramesh (27) and Narender (20) and they have been arrested. Rahul was the girl's neighbour and others were belonged to the same locality.

A case of abduction, gang-rape and hatching a criminal conspiracy under IPC and relevant sections of the POCSO Act has been registered.
