KCR terms UoH Research Scholar's suicide and JNU controversy as unfortunate. Stating that he never wanted to create an issue for political gains, CM says all measures have been taken by TRS Government to restore normalcy on the campus.
The TRS Supreme claimed State Government hasn't appointed Vice Chancellors for any Universities of far as he wants people with integrity, ethics and morals to take the responsibility. He informs about the amendment to Universities Act done under TRS rule, only to make sure Government alone but not Governor has the powers to appoint chancellors and vice chancellors. He adds, Committees have been constituted to identify deserving individuals for such respectable posts.
