Minister of State for Health Anupriya Patel clarifies that India has become factory of babies with commercial surrogacy. "We want to communicate that surrogacy should be the last option and we in no way are going to promote the idea of commercial surrogacy," Patel said.

Such type of incidents are becoming more and more these days and she doesn't want India to be the next country after Russia and Ukraine, where they are mostly taking part of these surrogacy.
She also spoke about Surrogacy Regulation Bill 2016, which got approval recently got huge criticisms as well from several quarters. Many issues will be discussed and addressed in Parliament about the same; she is even expecting positive response about it.
