Telangana CM KCR has topped the list of monthly salaries of Indian Chief Ministers. With a whopping Rs. 4,21,000 salary per month, KCR over powered his other counterparts like Uttarkhand's CM Harish Rawat and Andhra Pradesh CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu.
While Harish Rawat pockets Rs. 2,50,000 per month, Chandrababu, CM of one of the poorest states with a deficit budget in the country, draws a handsome monthly salary of Rs. 2,40,000 and stood in the second and third positions respectively. Apart from being the highest paid CM in the country, KCR also made his MLAs the country's top paid legislatives by offering them Rs. 2,50,000 per month, making each of them highest paid them Chandrababu.
On the other hand, Andhra Pradesh MLAs are drawing Rs. 1,25,000 per month. Surprisingly, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa, who had faced corruption charges in the past, draws only 1 rupee as her salary and her colleague and West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee doesn't charge even a single penny as her salary.
