Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has invited CEOs of top Indian companies to set up their offices in Amravati, the upcoming capital of Andhra Pradesh, and explained his vision of building one of the best blue and green cities. Delivering special remarks to the Indian community at Zurich on Tuesday night ahead of the World Economic Forum annual summit at Davos, Switzerland, he told them: “We are working towards building the most liveable city. Working with us will help increase your productivity," he added.
Rahul Bajaj, Chairman, Bajaj Auto, Vishal Sikka, CEO Infosys, Sunil Mittal, Chairman, Bharti Enterprises, Ajay Piramal, Chairman Piramal Enterprises and Tulsi Tanti, Chairman Suzlon, were among the 100 CEOs who attended the event where Mr. Naidu was the chief guest.
Observing that India holds great advantage because of demographic dividend, he urged the CEOs to take advantage of 'Young India' in making India a global economic powerhouse. He said India was progressing rapidly and Andhra Pradesh has become a favourite destination for investments. The long coastline of AP places the State at an advantage of becoming the logistics hub for South East Asia.
