After spending nearly four years in Jail mining baron and former Karnataka Minister Gali Janardhan Reddy on Friday walked out of prison.
Reddy who was granted bail recently by Supreme court was stepped out from jail exactly at 4:05 pm.He has chosen the correct time given that he has a strong "9" sentiment .Many of his followers came to prison to welcome Gali and walked out of jail in a 100-vehicle convoy.
He got into his posh Mercedes Benz car and headed to his house 'Parijata' at Chalukya Circle. Gali Janardan Reddy was greeted by his wife, children, relatives.Gali's close aides B Sriramulu, MP J Shanta, MLA Nagendra and his supporters also presented at Jail to welcome Gali. Before leaving the prison, Reddy collected his personal belongings that were kept in one of the jail lockers.
The Supreme Court recently granted bail to Gali Janardhan Reddy, who is an accused in the illegal mining case involving Obulapuram Mining Company (OMC) owned by him.
