Instructions have been issued to the TTD engineering department to draw up plans for the construction of a replica temple of Lord Venkateswara in Amaravati. The discussions on this were held at a review meeting with all the TTD senior staff members in TTD Administration building, on Monday.
In a press release issued here on Monday, TTD Executive Officer D Sambasiva Rao said the engineering wing should come up with an action plan to construct replica temples of Lord Venkateswara. “The plans should be made by taking three different places of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states into consideration. And those three places are Amaravati, Krishna Pushkarams and Hyderabad," he said.
He also said that arrangements for the upcoming mega religious event, Krishna Pushkarams should enhance the royalty of TTD. “There is no need to compromise on the arrangements for the religious river event. Our arrangements for Godavari Maha Pushkaram last year was a grand success. With the same spirit, we should do with more vigour for the upcoming Krishna Pushkarams," he said. The Maha Pushkaram will be conducted from August 12 to 24.
Stressing to conduct inspection on sculptures under the process of installation, he said the sculptures which have already been sent to the temples in SC/ST colonies and other areas, the engineering team should look after the process by constituting a committee of engineers, temple officers, archakas and sthapathis. Rao released a special edition of Sapthagiri magazine for May exclusively portraying the 1000th Avirbhava Utsavam of Sri Vaishnava Saint Sri Ramanujacharya.
Subhapradam Training prog:- The summer coaching camp Subhapradam has been scheduled for May 22. “The HDPP wing was ordered to train up the trainers in the first week," said the TTD executive officer D Sambasiva Rao, in a release. The books to the respective centres should be sent and parents must be informed about the training by utilising media platforms, he said, while instructing the officials of HDPP.
