Senior BJP leader and Union Urban Development and Information and Broadcasting Minister M. Venkaiah Naidu and Union Labour Minister Bandaru Dattatreya on Wednesday extended solidarity to MRPS demand for SC Categorization. Naidu and Bandaru visited the MRPS Deeksha Sibhir here at Jantar Mantar and said that there is nothing irrational in MRPS demand. Addressing the Deeksha that entered 23 day, Venkaiah Naidu said that the demand for categorization is totally justifiable.
Refuting the allegation that categorization will create differences between different castes and thus lead to conflict of within the SC community as such. There is no logic in it he said and added social justice is possible only through reservation based on population ratio. MRPS President Manda Krishna Madiga said that BJP and Venkaiah Naidu extended support to reservation movement from its initial stages and Naidu played a key role in mustering support to categorization at national level and hoped that he will make the long cherished dream true.
Describing Naidu as his big brother of Madiga community Krishna Madiga said that he will be revered as god if SC Categorization see the light of the day. TDP leaders Motkupalli Narasimhulu and Revanth Reddy also extended solidarity to MRPS movement.
