AP Government has called off the plans to held the Winter Session of Assembly at Thullur which falls in the proposed new capital region. In view of the upcoming GHMC Polls, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has took a call in this regard due to fear of losing votes of settlers in Hyderabad city. Telangana TDP Leaders have influenced Naidu in this way to affectively face KCR's attempts to conquer its bastion.
Speaker Kodela Sivaprasad Rao made it clear the next couple of Assembly Sessions will happen in Hyderabad itself. However, Mr.Rao claims short time span prevented AP Govt from setting up a temporary Assembly in Amaravati. TDP's new move irked TRS a bit. TRS General Secretary & Rajya Sabha Member comments its not right on TDP's part to alter the earlier decision just for political reasons.
