AP Government has in principle decided to let go some of the institutions listed in the 10th Schedule of AP
Reorganisation Act to the Telangana Government just because they have no relevance to the state and running in losses.
A 4-Member Committee comprising of AP Government Advisor (finance) CS Rao, State Planning Board Vice Chairman C Kutumba Rao, Director of Planning Department N Yogeswara Sastry and Finance Expert K Narasimha Murthy will conduct a study on the assets, liabilities and staff of the institutions listed in the 10th Schedule of AP Reorganisation Act. Based on the report submitted by this panel within 2 months, AP Government will take a final call.
On the other hand, Telangana Government argues most of the institutions belong to Telangana as they are located at Hyderabad and they can only offer services to the AP Government.
