In the wake of the recent double jolts the party received with its prominent leaders Errabelli and MLA Prakash Goud quitting the party to join TRS, the Telangana TDP now seems to be on the verge of getting yet another shock in the form of the party's senior leader and politburo member Motkupalli Narasimhulu. In a high-level meeting convened by Chandrababu Naidu at TDP Bhavan this evening, Motkupalli poured his heart out about him being sidelined in the party and how he wasn't seen in any meetings in the recent past and particularly in the GHMC elections.
Motkupalli further suggested that Babu should cater at least one day a week to Telangana and carry out whirlwind tours across the state to penetrate into the masses. Meanwhile, analysts are seeing Motkupalli's outburst as showing his dissent over Chandrababu for not offering him a Rajya Sabha berth. It is well known that Babu promised Motkupalli to make him the Governor if NDA came into power after the 2014 polls. However, Babu ignored his promise since then, leading to Motkupalli's displeasure.
