Congress leader and former minister of excise in the undivided Andhra Pradesh, Botsa Satyanarayana, will soon be joining the YSR Congress Party. Earlier this morning, the party's senior leaders, Mithun Reddy, Vijayasai Reddy, YV Subba Reddy, Jyothula Nehru and Nageswara rao met Botsa at his residence and invited him to join the party.
As per the reports, Botsa demanded full powers in the party's Vizianagaram region and all an MLC ticket, apart from making him the floor leader in the council. The YSRCP senior leaders and the party president YS Jagan are reportedly fine with Botsa's terms, making the Congress leader ready to take the big jump.
Recently, Botsa flew down to Bangalore where he met YS Jagan and discussed about the prospects about his role in the party. This brings the curtains down to the months long drama of whether the Congress leader will remain in the party or take the exit route. Earlier on many occasions, vehemently denied the news of joining YSRCP as baseless. An official confirmation is awaited in a very short time regarding Botsa's joining YSRCP.
