In a decision that could rise controversy, the Union Civil Aviation Ministry today issued an order naming the domestic terminal at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA), Hyderabad after N T Rama Rao, the founder of Telugu Desam Party.As predicted, the ruling TRS and opposition parties have made hue and cry over renaming the domestic terminal of Shamshabad airport as NTR Terminal
Telangan assembly passed the resolution opposing the move and the issue created ruckus in Assembly.Now Andhra leaders started blaming KCR for his move and Telugu Desam party’s leader and AP minister Acchem Naidu lashed state chief minister K.Chandrasekhara Rao and the TRS.
He advised KCR to change his son name first if he doesn’t want presence of Andhra leaders names.He said, KCR govt is opposing the central move because of Anti-andhra feeling. KCR named his son after late NTR whom he calls an Andhrite. He has to change the name of his son first instead of the institutions in the state.He questioned KCR how he oppose the name of NTR who gave him political career.
