MNS Worker Threatens To Beat Up Arshi Khan After She Tells Raj Thackeray To Shut The F**k Up

An MNS (Maharashtra Navnirman Sena) worker from Mira Road affiliated to the Raj Thackeray run local political party threatened model and actress Arshi Khan on Sunday evening at Mira Road. Arshi Khan who was shopping near the busy market area was accosted by an MNS worker who stalked her and shouted slogans and threatened to beat up the actress if she continued her pro-Pakistan stance. The incident happened at around 7.30 pm in the busy market area of Mira Road. No police complaint has been filed yet.

The MNS worker refereed to Arshi Khan's pro-Pak stand and statements and threatened her with dire consequences. Arshi Khan recently released a video on Facebook criticizing MNS chief Raj Thackeray for his anti-Pakistan artistes stand and said that Raj Thackeray must shut the f**k up. She also said that she was half-Pakistani and that the MNS must first throw her out of Mumbai. The controversial video can be found at the link here:

Earlier, about a year ago, Arshi Khan had faced the ire of another right-wing local political party in Mumbai - the Shiv Sena when an alleged Shiv Sena worker flung a beer bottle at Arshi Khan while she was shooting at a studio at Four Bungalows in suburban Mumbai. Another right-wing faction, the Bharatiya Swabhiman Sangathan had also threatened Arshi Khan a few months ago to leave Mumbai and go to Pakistan. Exactly a year ago, Arshi Khan's car was vandalized by Shiv Sainiks in Bhopal who ordered her to leave India and go to Pakistan as she claimed to be "married" to Pakistani cricketer Shahid Afridi.

At that time, several Bollywood personalities including director-producer Mahesh Bhatt and veteran actor Raza Murad spoke out in favour of Arshi Khan and condemned the Shiv Sena for their "goondagiri".

Not just Arshi Khan, according to an Economic Times report, the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena has threatened to beat up Pakistani artistes Ali Zafar, Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan and comedian Shakeel Siddiqui if they do not leave India immediately. Not to be left behind, the Shiv Sena has also demanded that those who engaged the artistes to be booked for "supporting a terrorist nation." Following the threat, the Mumbai Police has promised protection to the artistes in the city.
