K. Shanti Priya Yadav, an NRI entrepreneur and social worker in Malaysia was selected for the Smt. Dasaripalli Suguna Ramakrishna Reddy Memorial 'Pravasi Stree Shakti' (Emigrant Women Power) Award. The Hyderabad-based NGO Srisai Alekhya Arts has announced 'Sree Shakti' (Women Power) Awards for women for exemplary performance in various fields. The awards will be presented on the occasion of International Women's Day on March 8 at Ravindra Bharathi here at 10am

Shanti Priya Yadav is the founder-director of Vetarasoft Applications Sdn Bhd, an IT outsourcing company under Multimedia Super Corridor of Malaysia. She extended her arms in food and hotel Industry starting Shanti Bhavan for providing delicious Indian foods to Malaysians and expatriate Indians. She is the co-founder of Malaysia Telangana Association (MYTA). She actively supports women's rights and the encouragement of women entrepreneurship. She focused on employing young women. She encompasses in social responsibilities like girl child education. She is living in Malaysia for the last 18 years. She is practicing her motherland culture in a foreign country and transferring the culture to future generations.
