Most of the victims were said to be daily-wage labourers who went to the Swarna Bar at Hotel M in Krishnalanka before going to work. Police have seized the bar and filed cases. Along with Swarna Bar owner, former MLA Malladi Vishnu's name was included in the list of accused. Vishnu has been added as A9 in the police complaint.
